TUMIN · coming soon

Software to manage loans and collections

Organise loan repayments, record collections with receipts and review each collector’s cash close. See what has been collected and what is still owed.

Coming soon. Tell us how you manage your loans and we will explain early access.

What gets harder as the portfolio grows

Issuing the loan is the first step. The daily work is keeping track of every instalment, every payment and every collector's cash.

  • Differences between recorded payments and cash

When recorded payments do not match the cash handed in, you need to review receipts and transactions to find the difference.

  • Outstanding balances are hard to track

Between new loans, partial payments and refinancing, the total lent is a number that has to be worked out again every time you need it.

  • Late fees applied inconsistently

Each collector applies the penalty their own way, or skips it. The punctual borrower and the late one end up paying the same.

  • Receipts that go missing or repeat

A receipt book doesn't warn you when a number is missing, and a deleted payment leaves no trace.

Loan tracking in a spreadsheet or TUMIN

A spreadsheet can keep records. TUMIN brings payments, receipts and cash review together in one system.

How it works

From recording a loan to collecting payments and reviewing cash.

  1. Record your capital

The money you lend, kept separate by fund and by currency.

  2. Organise your loan portfolio

Group loans into portfolios and assign collectors. Each collector only sees their assigned borrowers.

  3. Issue the loan

The system builds the payment schedule. Whoever creates it can't approve it: someone else does.

  4. Collect on the route

The collector logs the payment in the app and the borrower gets a numbered receipt.

  5. Close out the day's cash

At the end of the day, the collector closes their cash account and another person compares cash with recorded payments.

Review your team’s collections and cash

Assign permissions to keep loan approval, payment collection and cash review separate.

Cash close reviewed by another person

Each collector opens and closes their cash account. Another authorised person compares cash with recorded payments and approves the close.

Loan approval by another person

The person who records the loan cannot approve it. A second person reviews it before it is issued.

A voided payment is never deleted

If a payment was logged by mistake, it's voided with a mandatory reason. It stays in the history as voided, with who voided it and why, and balances correct themselves.

Transactions checked against cash

The system compares recorded transactions with each portfolio’s cash and flags differences.

Loans, collections and borrowers

View repayment schedules, record payments and review each borrower’s history.

Repayment schedules for each loan

Calculate interest on the original amount or on the outstanding balance. Review instalments, dates and the effective rate before approving the loan.

  • Daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual payments
  • Up to 360 instalments
  • Simulator to show the borrower the plan
  • Early payoff and refinancing

Collections from a phone

Collectors log payments from the app. Each payment is allocated automatically: late fees first, then interest, then principal.

  • Android collector app, planned for launch
  • Collection routes and payment promises
  • Partial payments and payments across instalments
  • Numbered PDF receipt for every payment

Borrower history and documents

The borrower profile keeps their ID, documents and collateral, and their payment history feeds their score and credit limit.

  • Documents and collateral per loan
  • Credit score and credit limit
  • Automatic late fees with grace days and a cap
  • Overdue loans by length of delay and account statements

Priced per company, no per-loan fees

Loan management software: common questions

Can I subscribe to TUMIN now?

We are preparing the launch. Request early access and tell us what you need. We will explain availability and how to get started; a launch date has not been announced yet.

Does TUMIN offer loans?

No. TUMIN is software for managing loans and collections in your own lending business. It does not provide loans or accept applications to borrow money.

Does it work for daily, weekly and fortnightly loans?

Yes. Each loan can be collected daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually, and one portfolio can mix loans with different frequencies.

Is there a collector app? Android or iPhone?

The collector app runs on Android and is planned for launch; we will confirm availability and installation with your team. The admin dashboard works in any browser, including on an iPhone or a tablet.

I track my loans in a spreadsheet — do I have to start from scratch?

No. Your active loans are imported together with the payments you've already received, so each borrower's balance matches your sheet, and from then on it's calculated automatically.

Flat interest or declining balance?

Both. Flat-rate interest is calculated on the full loan amount and spread across instalments; the amortising schedule charges interest on the outstanding balance. Before issuing, you see the full schedule and the effective rate.

What if a collector logs a payment by mistake?

It's voided with a mandatory reason. The payment doesn't disappear: it stays on record as voided, with who voided it and why, and balances correct themselves. Nobody can erase a payment without leaving a trace.

How do I know each collector's cash adds up?

Each collector records payments and closes their cash account. Another authorised person checks whether cash matches collections. The system compares transactions and flags differences.

Does it calculate late fees automatically?

Yes, once you turn it on. You set a daily rate, grace days and a cap, and the fee accrues each day on the overdue instalment. When a payment comes in it covers the late fee first, then interest, then principal.

Does it send WhatsApp reminders to my borrowers?

Not yet. Today the system alerts your team to overdue instalments with phone notifications. Automatic messages to borrowers aren't available for now.

Can I manage several companies or branches?

Yes. One account can run several companies, each with fully separate data. Each company has its own plan.

Who is it not for?

TUMIN doesn't lend money: it's the system for people who lend. If you're looking for a loan, TUMIN isn't what you need. Nor is it built for banks or large credit unions with their own core system, but for lenders, finance companies and lending businesses with field collectors.
